Pride in New York City brings together history, community, and celebration across all five boroughs. With two major weekends on the calendar—Brooklyn Pride and NYC Pride—there are plenty of ways to show up and celebrate. The Tillary Hotel Brooklyn is perfectly located to give you easy access to both, whether you’re heading into Manhattan or staying local to enjoy everything Brooklyn has to offer.

From the energy of the NYC Pride March to the neighborhood pride of Park Slope, these two weekends offer a different feel—but the same spirit. Two weekends, two boroughs, endless celebration. Here’s how to make the most of your NYC Pride getaway.

Brooklyn Pride – June 13–14, 2025

Friday, June 13: Settle In and Explore Local Favorites
Ease into the weekend with time to explore nearby LGBTQ+ friendly businesses in NYC. Kirrin Finch, just across the way at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is known for its sharp, gender-inclusive tailoring. If you’re planning what to wear to NYC Pride, be sure to browse its one-of-a-kind inventory. It’s a great stop for a new fit—or just a fresh perspective.

Over in Greenpoint, Edy’s Grocer is the kind of place you go to browse and linger. Expect shelves of Lebanese pantry staples, sweet and savory snacks, and a few things you didn’t know you needed until now.

Cap off the evening with a drink at Good Judy in Park Slope. The backyard alone is worth the visit, but it’s the welcoming vibe that keeps people coming back.

Saturday, June 14: 5K, Celebrations, and More

The weekend officially kicks off Saturday morning with the Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run/Walk at 11:30 AM in Prospect Park. It’s a fun, community-centered race through tree-lined paths and open space. Run it, walk it, cheer it on—there’s no wrong way to show up.

Afterward, swing back to The Tillary to rest, refresh, and gear up for the rest of the day. Whether it’s a quick nap, a long shower, or a cold drink in the Garden Bar, this is your home base.

In the evening, Park Slope comes alive for Brooklyn Pride. The neighborhood shuts down streets and opens up its arms. There’s music, food, community booths, and people of all ages and backgrounds coming together in celebration. Stick around as the energy builds—Brooklyn does Pride in its own bold, beautiful way.

Saturday, June 28: Celebrate Queer Youth

Seaport | 12:00 PM

On June 28, Youth Pride takes over South Street Seaport starting at noon. This affirming event centers LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies, with performances, community partners, and lots of space to connect and celebrate by the water. And if you were wondering, “Is NYC Pride free?” the answer is yes! It’s an open event full of optimism, movement, and joy.

And when you’re ready to call it a day, The Tillary is just a short ride away—close enough to keep you connected, far enough to offer a breather from the crowds.

Sunday’s events begin late morning with the NYC Pride March, starting in Midtown and ending in Chelsea at 15th and 7th.
