Discover Brooklyn: The Waterfront

A familiar sight from the movies, Manhattan Bridge connects Brooklyn with Lower Manhattan. The view from Flatbush Avenue is a photographer’s favourite.

Brooklyn’s primary flea market, on picturesque cobbled streets under the Manhattan Bridge archways, is a favourite spot for quirky vintage shopping. 

You’ll find fantastic views of Brooklyn Bridge at Pebble Beach. The restful stony waterfront is an ideal spot to catch your breath too.  

This fully restored and operational fairground carousel from the 1920s, complete with its wonderfully carved original horses, is a treat for the whole family. 

End your walk at beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s home to Brooklyn’s famous Ice Cream Factory if you’re hungry. You can also, of course, carry on across the bridge into Manhattan.
